Abstract
In remote and inaccessible areasaround 25,000 villages are located. So, it could not be electrified through conventional grid extension in India. the ‘Remote Village Electrification Programme’ (RVEP)is implementing by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE)to electrify such remote villages by installing solar photovoltaic (PV).
