Abstract

Fishery Subsidies is detrimental to fishery stock because of unsustainable fishing. Fishery stock is depleting because of the human intervention. This may lead to massive harmful effects on mankind because of the booming of Jellyfish. Fishery Subsidies has been identified as the key factor for the depletion of species across the globe because of rising industrial fishing. There has been a great divide between developed and developing countries in terms of providing fishery subsidies over the last few decades it has far-reaching consequences on industrial and artisanal fishing. The objective of the study is to show that rising fishery subsidy has led to increasing the threatened species in both developing and the developed countries. The study runs OLS regression models to justify the objectives.
